At the moment I am busy writing a young adult book, which, (no pun intended) blends witchcraft with Norse mythology and it is entitled, The Cauling.
I don’t expect to become rich through my writing - first and foremost, to me, is adeep-seatedd need to entertain and educate my readers or, in the case of DeMorte: Legend of The Lanes – too scare the living daylights out of them and make them think a little harder, about the afterlife. The icing on the cake, for me, would be movie adaptions.
Hi, Ed Newbery-King here. Now where shall I start? Well, I come from a publishing background. I worked for a book publisher for over twenty years, not as a writer, but as a designer. It was whilst designing books for other people, that one day I thought – I think could do this _ and here I am!.
I was a keen writer way back in my school days, always got top marks from my English teacher, Richard Meredith, who would heap praised upon me regarding my, ‘lively imagination’!
