Well here she is, virtually finished - my illustration for Fairy Leaf-Hat for my Wellinever! story, A Day of Surprises. In an earlier blog entry, I mentioned how, whatever I tried, Fairy Leaf-Hat always ended up looking like a transvestite. I have nothing against transvestites I can assure you, it's just that I want Fairly Leaf-Hat to look all woman, not a man dressed up as a woman. I hope I now have her looking just about right for the story. All I need to do now is to take my Adobe Illustrator file into Photoshop and add some magical little touches to help her leap from the page. As she is a winged creature of the forest, I decided to make her wings look like leaves. I will post the Photoshop-magicked version either tomorrow or Friday and you'll see what I mean about final embellishments. Over and out. ENK :-)
