Hi! As this is my first new blog page, I shall start with giving you extracts from my three books - here is an extract from, Do You Believe in Magic?

Stealthily he leapt up to get to the second, closer doorway leading to the airing cupboard in the dingy hallway before Mildred and Missy got there before him. He had forgotten that he had no shoes on for he considered slippers to be an unnecessary luxury, and almost lost his footing on the highly polished linoleum in his stockinged feet, where he practically skated to the airing cupboard door. In seconds flat, he was reaching up inside the airing cupboard to locate his crinkly trousers and the mysterious object hidden amongst them.

“What on earth are you doing, Spencer?” asked Mildred, catching him up.

“Hee hee heee, wheeeeee, lookee, we have wings back!” came two very strange, high-pitched voices. Suddenly the darkness was punctuated by a brilliant flash of sparkling lights that twinkled forth in a celestial wave that crested the top shelf and then swept downwards before separating like two multicoloured comets that meandered haphazardly between the three of them. In a blind panic, and thinking that the water tank was about to explode, Mildred ran straight back into the living room dragging Missy along with her.

“Wheehee, he try to tickle us, came a high pitched giggling voice.”

“Spencer!” screamed Mildred as she raced back into the living room. “For goodness sake, don’t just stand there dithering, do something, the hot water tank’s about to blow up!”
